Lovely little pub with newly decorated rooms. The beds were really comfy and the shower was great. The owner got our room ready 3 hours early so we could check in before a wedding we had to go to. It was so appreciated! Above and beyond.

Would be more than happy to book here again! Hidden away, cosy, clean, and clearly decorated by someone with a great eye for detail, which is always so so nice to see. What’s not to like! The location is fantastic, it’s so quiet and the view is amazing. The property is very well decorated, very clean and you want for nothing. Lastly but most importantly couldn’t ask for nicer hosts. Nothing is too much trouble that so, extended our stay as we love it that much.

Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Room was nice, quiet. As it was "pizza night" there was a pizza trailer on the car park which was excellent, and although this is an external service to the accommodation, they permitted it to be brought inside no issues at all! Excellent! Room was lovely and clean, tea and coffee, biscuit, fresh linen & towels, everything you could need. Nice and quiet! I'll be back soon.

Clean and comfortable room, comfy bed, nice big shower, on-site parking, friendly and helpful staff. A bonus is that there's a good restaurant a very short walk away., and the Avoncroft museum site is within walkingn distance too. The Hanbury Turn itself does good bar snacks. The pub had a nice atmosphere so provides a pleasant place to spend time when not out-and-about in the area. Overall, I'd highly recommend the Hanbury Turn for a stay in the area.

Lovely place to stay. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Good value for money. Plenty of parking. We also had a delicious cooked breakfast. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

location excellent for our overnight stay en route to the peak district. Small car park but managed to get a space, the room was very good and staff great,excellent breakfast at a reasonable price but unfortunately too much for us and had to leave some which we do not like doing but if we stay again we'll be prepared & ask for smaller portions !

The staff and clientele were very friendly, nice pub, good location and parking. Although they have no restaurant they off filled rolls and are very happy for you to have a takeaway delivered! The shower was excellent.

our en-suite room was immaculate and very nicely laid out, with a separate exit to the car park which meant we could leave at 8am as the pub was not opened. Unfortunately the breakfast didn’t start till 9pm so we missed that. A very nice place to stay ideal for us.
