    I stayed a few years ago and didn't enjoy my time. However, with all the new improvements it is a much better experience. They have put a lot of effort and time into renovating a once dated hotel. The Indian restaurant and cocktail bar are both out of this world and provide an incredible mixed evening of entertainment. The continental breakfast was good value for money, and the bar was nice and quiet with a good selection of alcohol and soft drinks. Not too mention there was free parking!

    The hotel is within walking distance to the town centre. Shops are close by. Ample free parking available. Breakfast was good and the close-by Portuguese restaurant was very good. The room as well as the shower had a very good size.

    Good location, free parking for the duration of our stay. The staff were friendly and made me some food late at night too when I was on the hunt for a takeaway. Beds comfy.

    The location of the Stone House was ideal for our needs. 30y ago I used to live in Stone and the SHH was the best in Stone. Today we chose the hotel for the location and the car parking.

    Our room was ground floor with French doors onto the garden/picnic area which was well kept. We used this access as our 'front door'. Plenty of free parking. Quiet area. Easy, walking, access to Stone town centre.
