A stunning location by the side of the beautiful River Wye. The accommodation was of the highest standard and the breakfast was excellent with very good choices. We dined in the pub both nights and were delighted by the quality of the food on offer.

On our arrival, we were welcomed by the host and treated to a lovely pot of tea and apple cinnamon cake (delicious). She showed us to our room and areas in the house where we could relax. She also told us about Woods deli just around the corner, where we could have breakfast. Ideal location, just off the A40 as a stop off point when travelling down the country.

Everything was as described and reviewed. We did have high expectations and they were certainly met. The host was very attentive and kind. The Nagshead nature reserve was within walking distance, nice forest path into the village and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Thank you.

Beautiful stay, albeit short if definitely stay again. Host was extremely helpful with finding the location prior to my visit and very friendly upon arrival. Cabin was cozy, comfortable, clean, spacious and has everything needed for the stay. The pictures really don’t do this place justice.

A fabulous quirky B&B, with amazing room, comfy bed,spotlessly clean with personal touches such as eye masks, slippers plenty of tea,coffee milk and sugar. Breakfast was well presented and very tasty. Staff were excellent very helpful couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend.

    This place is a well used and long standing location with large car parking spaces £7 per day, we had room 19 a large room and en suite and 4 poster bed with great views of the river. Breakfast was of a very high standard as was the evening meal wel recommended and of the ame price as other eating places along the road.

    The room looked as though it had just been refurbished, with good views over the tree covered cliff on the opposite bank of the river, unfortunately the river was not visible due to the trees. The hotel garden is beautifully kept with lots of places to sit , lots of bird life, in the trees surrounding the property. There is a large car park and when you go to reception to book in you will be given a car parking permit to put in your windscreen , if you have visitors they can park for £6 for the day

    Great location, right on the river and easy walking distance to restaurants, pubs, cafes, butterfly farm, crazy golf, canoeing and walking. Lovely gardens and lounge for quiet drinks and the staff were great, happy and helpful. Plenty of free parking.

    Excellent weekend break, great facilities for cooking. Lovely location for walking and outdoor activities. Dog friendly and free parking space. Would re visit again, river Wye was flooded and restricted access to some walks.
