Cannot fault this hotel at all to be honest. If you get a good price on one of these rooms it’s excellent value for a great sized room. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is at your disposal. The main thing about this property is its friendly vibe as the staff are always amazingly helpful and extremely pleasant to deal with.

The rooms were spacious, clean and welcoming. The box of chocolates on the bed was a lovely touch too! Fiona and her husband were friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make us welcome and comfortable. We will definitely be visiting again in the future!

    Really spacious and well furnished room - everything you needed was included. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Located in a lovely village, right on the green with a fab deli opposite. Although parking at the Star itself is very limited, there is plenty of street parking nearby so wasn't a problem throughout our stay.

    Single beds in room 2 (asked for a double) - but were very comfy and pillows great. Wonderful location - car parking bit tight but should find somewhere to park. A lovely nice quiet pub. Real ales looked good.
