Gilda the host was fantastic, the property is stunning, the kitchen has really good quality utensils. sitting in the house looking out over the North sea with the wind blowing and snow coming down, whilst in the warmth of a lovely home was priceless. Its my wife's perfect environment and she did not want to leave!! Gilda the host was great, we actually got our car stuck in the snow at the bottom of the hill, we were supposed to leave at 10am but Gilda had already called us to see that we were ok with the snow that had come down, and she said no need to rush out the following day as there were no tenants due, this took off great pressure as we stayed util around 5pm had dinner at the property and then headed for a slow snowy drive to Lerwick to pick up our 7pm crossing on the boat.

Clean & very well maintained. Self-catering kitchen had everything you need to prepare a meal. Staff were friendly. Kettle, fridge & TV in the room was a bonus. Lift was useful.

We were welcomed by the owner, we received all the informations regarding the check-in/check-out. The room was ver very pleasant, the room is well equipped a very cosy. There is a mini starter kit (coffee, soap, biscuits, cereals, milk, sponge, etc..) and everything you need to cook. The bathroom was very clean and soaps from the shetlands are provided. The view is stunning. And the beds are so comfortable, it is like sleeping on a cloud. It was easy to park in front of the hotel. It is easy to find from the ferry and there is pub/restaurant a few minutes away. Perfect stay !

The location was great, we parked easily on the street. The room was well appointed, with everything we needed (kitchenette, ensuite). Continental breakfast supplies were most welcome and lasted us all day!
