WOW what a fantastic property absolutely beautiful!!! spotlessly clean want for nothing, beautifully appointed, next to the Reservoirs for great walks very close to the village of Bolsterstone, with a nice Pub and very friendly locals:) and a short drive to Stocksbridge for supermarkets and cafes, great base for the Peak District

This was one of the best we've stayed in. Absolutely beautiful surroundings in the middle of the hills, quiet and loads of breathtaking views on the abundance of walks and cycling paths. The house was luxurious and very spacious with lovely furnishings and kitchen facilities perfect. Best water from tap I've had for a long time... Highly recommend a stay, we'll definitely be back

It was very comfortable everything was there that you needed. It was easy to get hold of someone as there were phone numbers left in the book. Parking was clearly marked and it was quiet and beautiful The codes for the gate made it very private and secure Other cottages were rented out but you never heard anyone else.

Property was beautiful! Exceptionally clean and decorated. Location was perfect, was on a working farm (but quiet!). The hosts gave us a little tour around the grounds and on more than one occasion gave us recommendations of the local area, where to go/what to do/where to eat etc. They also gave my eldest daughter of 3 years old a tour of the stables to see the horses which was the highlight of her stay and such a thoughtful gesture to do. Their communication was great before and after the stay too. The house itself is beautiful in particular the large window with the pool table in the room with a beautiful outlook. All beds were super comfortable- best nights sleep I’ve had staying away! Thoughtful touches in the kitchen with milk, snacks and chocolates and in the bedroom for children fairy lights, soft toys and books. Thank you for our wonderful stay, we’ll definitely be back!

    Wortley Hall is a spectacular building in all honesty. It has been used as various different facilities over its years and it a fantastic piece of art inside and out. The staff at Wortley Hall are perfect host's for a wedding. Always someone walking around asking how everyone is or how their meal was and such. Even down to the breakfast. It was delicious! I cannot say more about the breakfast, just perfect. On site parking right outside the building is a great addition.
