The very warm welcome from our hosts, late in the evening. We loved the warm and cosy bedroom and bathroom facilities.In the morning we loved seeing the beautiful gardens and watched a variety of birds feeding in the sunshine. Breakfast, as mentioned in several other reviews, was very good indeed. We can’t recommend this cottage enough. Thank you.

    I had a nice large room which still had the original internal shutters. Everything appeared in good order and worked as expected. Nice clean bathroom. Nice terrace area attached to the room which would be handy in summer. Ample parking and friendly staff.

    The pub/hotel is located on the left hand side of the A379 going away from Plymouth just before the petrol station. Check in from 15.00hrs, which was quick and easy and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Free parking on site. The room was located in the ex police station building a little farther on. It was comfortable, with free wifi. The food both in the evening and breakfast was excellent. Breakfast is from 07.30am.

    Covenient location for the area we wanted to explore. Good pub/restaurant next door. Plenty of free parking. Quite a small room, but everything necessary was in it. An outdoor area available in fine weather. The staff were really friendly and helpful - couldn’t do enough for you.
