This guesthouse was the most satisfying night of my four-day trek from Mestia to Ushguli. Firstly the location, although you can see on the map that it's not in the centre of the village, I think it's not only less crowded than the guesthouses in the middle of the village, it's got a small courtyard and a really nice view. Also, the food here was the best I've had in four days of trekking. Last but not least, the host family is very welcoming, serving us with tea and wine, and their third daughter, anna, is really adorable! I highly recommend this guesthouse.

this is our BEST stay in the whole Svaneti. everything nice and clean, food is the best, the lady who runs the place was so helpful! we honestly didn’t expect such a place in the small village. We’ve also never seen an accommodation to be so clean. My only regret is that we stayed there only one night and i would spend a week there

We had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the food was good. The view from the shared terrace is beautiful. The day after, we needed to cross the river on our way to Khalde. The hosts were very helpful. They warned us about the river level rising and arranged horses for crossing. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed the homey feel of this guest house. The lady didn't speak much but was trying to fulfill our needs. We cooked dinner with her and it was delicious. The room was clean, but you have to climb up a couple stairs to get there. The shower was small but gets the job done. I would recommend this place. 10/10

The room was newly renovated, very spacious and fragrant. Beautiful balcony with a view. We felt very comfortable here, the owner took care of us like family, she treated us well, played a musical instrument for us while we ate, she was very nice and we fell in love with her and her family even for such a short time. We can only recommend it 👌🏻😊

I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. I was offered free coffee and tea, the owner agreed to individual arrangements for breakfast, the food was delicious and there was much more than I could eat. On top of that the communication has been amazing, I was picked up in Iprari, dropped off to continue my trek to Ushguli and arranged transport to Mestia the following day. The rooms were comfortable and clean, I had everything I needed and more! I highly recommend staying at Elos guesthouse, it was truly a pleasure staying there and would definitely stay again in the future.

    This place has a nice balcony that overlooks the river, so it was quite nice to spend time on. The house looks to be in good shape compared to other houses in the village. The host was able to accommodate the parking situation for our car.
