We had a great holiday and completely fell in love with Akrogiali. Everything was just right — the clean room, the super comfy bed, and the incredible view. The beach is only steps away and stretches out in a peaceful 180-degree curve — perfect for swimming and paddleboarding. The food in the taverna downstairs was fresh, local, and served on a beautiful sea-view terrace covered in a green shade. This is probably one of the quieter, calmer parts of Samothraki, south-facing, with the mountains behind you and the sea right in front. It’s a great base to explore the island from, or you can just stay put and not move — just pop down to the taverna or to the beach. There’s a really relaxed, welcoming feel to the whole place. Giorgos and Pelagia are super hospitable and clearly love what they do — they’re kind, thoughtful, and take great care of everything. They’re always around if you need anything - just talk to them. Giorgos even took us out in his fishing boat to see places on the island we’d never have discovered on our own. It just all adds to the sense that you’re somewhere special. Thank you very much, Giorgos and Pelagia - we would love to come back!

The location is unique, with panoramic views of the sea and the mountain of Samothrace. The service is amazing, beyond what is expected for the island, from kind and open-minded people. The cottages are independent of each other and this gives a sense of increased individuality. They are fully equipped for a pleasant and comfortable family stay. There is plenty of space for children to play safely. The location is quiet for a peaceful life, and access to the main points of interest on the island is convenient. The door opens with keys and also with a security code. They are well worth the money we gave. We will be back next year.

We had a lovely stay at Petrouda's. The whole place is very clean and homey, the room was spacious with a small kitchenette that provided everything we needed to cook occasionally. There is a beautiful garden, and a pebble beach very near, the whole area is super lush and green. The location between Therma and the port is very convenient. Our host Kiki welcomed us kindly, and everyone on site was very helpful and relaxed. Thank you, we had a great time!

Great location, in a quite area. Very clean, very well managed. Walking distance to the archeological site and to a pebble beach just across the road. A neighbooring taverna proved practical for meals. An iron was provided asa I required it.

First of all, the house is much cooler in reality than in the pictures. It has a bedroom and two sofas for one person. However, there were 6 of us (we took an inflatable mattress with us) and we still had enough space. Everything is modern and in harmony with nature. The courtyard is wonderful and very large (2 terraces) and has a superb view of the mountain. We will definitely come back next year!

    Peaceful location, good parking, well kept gardens, lovely hosts, our Seaview balcony was in the shade during the hottest part of the day - the gardens were still available if people wished to sit in the sun. Spacious accomodation, good kitchen space. All good.

    Very friendly and helpful hosts. The room was enough spacious and clean. Good balcony and bathroom. There is a parking in the house. The price is perfect. There are tavernas, shops and bakery in 5 minutes. The place is perfect if you are hiking peak Fengari - it's next to the starting point of the route. There are a lot of waterfalls in Therma for about 15-20 minutes - Mikre and Gria Vatras. The bakery of Falekas offers wonderful pies.

    Great option to stay in Samothrace (Chora)! The house is situated at a very convenient part of the village, with a parking space just next to it. View from the balcony was very pleasant. Easy communication to check-in and check out - Barbara and Christine were very responsive and friendly! The apartment is very well equipped, spacious with a modern cosy design, and clean. Highly recommended!

    Location is great for older people that do not want to haul their luggage in steep and narrow alleys. Just close to the entrance to town, to the parking, and near the bus stop. Mattress was good, and the bathroom is modern.

    The house is beautiful and comfortable; kitchen is fully equipped; bathroom has 5stars shower. Parking inside the property is easy and the garden is the nicest place to have fresh evening air. the host is always available for help or advice and everything is perfect to relax after the day spent exploring the island or by the beach.

    - location: very quiet area; - apartment: modern, with a lot of facilities, very clean, with a nice terrace and an extraordinary sea view; - host: extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming (she delighted us with deserts on 2 occasions; on Easter day, she brought us traditional sweet bread and colored eggs and she borrowed us a map of the island); - free parking in the yard; - early check-in and late check-out (after confirming with the host).
