As you look across each side of the valley you can identify ancient agricultural terraces. Some extend beyond the vegetation level. There is a high likelihood that these are evidence of Minoan viticulture and they would have grown a broad variety of grapes on these slopes. The farmhouse dates to circa 1820 and there are olives close by of a similar age. This is a period of our civilisation when wool and cloth became in demand. A truly spectacular place to experience. The accommodation has a stone interior.

I had an amazing experience renting this house. It was clean, comfortable, and offered a peaceful environment. The terrace was a bonus, providing a serene spot to relax. The welcome gifts of cake, alcohol, and fruits were a delightful surprise. Considering the quality and amenities, the price was fantastic. I couldn't have been more satisfied. We stayed in the is beautiful apartment with stunning vieuws from both balcanies. The apartment is very new, luxury and has everything you need. The owners are very nice and we were welcomed with delicious pastries from their own bakery in the village.
