The host Mate warmly welcomed us and gave us excellent recommendations for a walk to the river Zrnovnica, a local product called soparnik under UNESCO protection. The location is quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting, sleeping and staying in nature, and also a great start for exploring Split and Omis with their beaches, which are only 15 minutes' drive from the villa.

We loved everything from the hospitality we received to the food we were invited to have with the owners of the property. They really made us feel part of their family 👪. The host is so warm and welcoming! we were given sweets for the children, fresh vegetables from their garden and the kitchen was stocked with alcohol, coffee, milk and more. Thr hosts daughter in law spike excellent English and we loved chatting with her- this really made our stay. The apartment is very modern and clean, cool in this heat. The location is 15mins away from split but we like that and there was a shopping mall 5 mins walk.

The house and grounds are fantastic and Marko and Roberta were incredible hosts who couldn’t do enough for you. Marko is available at any time, hand delivering a home made cake and charcuterie board and also helped us hugely when one of our party needed some medical help. The outdoor space in particular is a joy and everything is very well thought out making life very easy, exactly as you want on holiday.

Reception Drago is super nice and helpful! The parking place is 10 mins walk from the hotel. He came to the parking lot to help us with 2 big suitcases. And we learned that he used to be an Olympics champion in 2004! Can’t believe that we met an Olympics champion in Croatia.
