We stayed at Bucka-lak in early September as a couple and had a wonderful time. The place is charming, peaceful, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing. There are good restaurants and coffee spots nearby in Kisvárda. The accommodation is part of an outdoor school, so the rooms are simple rather than premium, but everything is clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The host was very friendly and welcoming. It’s an excellent spot for families, with great fishing opportunities, evening fire grilling, and simply enjoying the beautiful lake. Highly recommended for anyone looking for rest and nature.

    Beautiful surroundings, comfortable beds. Car parking. Close to road, good for overnight stay. Charming owner - old lady. Check in process - long time form filling, paying, looking for keys, welcome drink. You can not speed up this process, everything looks like rituals or performance. From one side we liked it from other side - doesn't. It took to much time for tired travellers.
