Stunning location set amongst rice padi fields and run by an amazing local women. My partner and I had the best curry and rendang of our Indonesian trip. The place is super peaceful and great to base yourself for the hike up to Rinjani or for day trips around the area. Even a quick 1 hr sunset stroll the rice padis was incredible. 💯 reccomend.

The host & his wife were really wonderful people, who helped accommodate us with our every need. We needed a driver, and they fixed it for us as well as a guide to visit the waterfalls. Since there isn’t a lot to eat or shop in the neighbourhood (except one little shop for drinks and snacks) the host cooked a wonderful meal for us as well as breakfast. The bungalow has the best view on rice and tobacco fields and the sunsets here, with the mount Rinjani in the back are truly mesmerizing.

Mr Joe is such a kind and honest man, and gave us an authentic experience of the Bayan area. Best host ever and a lovely family! Beautiful views of the valley from the bungalows and you can go swimming in the river just a short walk down the hills and rice paddies that Joe showed the way for us. 100% recommend staying here to everyone, and recommend going on a day tour with a local driver through Joe to see the strong cultural and heritage places of Bayan and the waterfalls. Mr Joe is very caring about his community and we learnt so much about Bayan. We booked an extra night because it was too nice to leave!

spacious & clean room. breakfast was amazing big portions and tasty friendly staff. and we got hot shower in this lovely place, the best hot shower we ever had, the staf itself do their best just to make your stay unforgettable. The homestay is quite new, the bed comfortable and the room spacoius. The position was perfect to visit senaru. The staff arranged us the transfer to the airport even though our flight was quite early in the morning. Best value for the price we paid, we had a really nice stay!
