The strong point of this place is the staff, really nice and prepared guys who make you feel good right away, it is possible to do tours in the jungle with them, we did the two-day one with our guides Rismanto and Risky who made us feel great, they are really wonderful people. We loved our hostess Tia and the other people who work at Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges, they we're all so helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed to be a little more secluded as the lodge is up between the trees, but still in walking distance of everything you need. The accommodation also had a good restaurant!

Sarah and Brian are the best hosts ever!! I loved this place and the vibes they give to it. I would definitely recommend to stay there and to take at least 2 days jungle trek with Brian. He is an exceptional guide and taught me a lot about the plants, animals, conservation and a bit of their culture. He is very conscious about environment and conservation and I really appreciated that. It was not about interfering with the animals and their space at all. I would stay here again if I ever come back to do a 7 days jungle trek :)

It was a very nice trip in Bukit Lawang with Jhony and Lana. They are very kind and helpful when you need something. The trek in the jungle with them was a unique and incredible experience.

We were warmly welcomed by Jay and his smiling family at this beautiful and peaceful place. From the very beginning, everything was thoughtfully planned – from the airport pickup to our incredible two-day jungle trek. Even when I fell ill, we were met with care and compassion – a doctor was quickly called, and we received helpful advice and support from several people, always offered with a warm smile. Our jungle guide was exceptional – knowledgeable, respectful of nature, and full of insight. The whole experience was seamless and filled with genuine hospitality. A truly memorable stay, where everything was taken care of and we felt both welcomed and valued. Highly recommended!

The location is so pretty and peaceful. Sitting in the garden relaxing after our trek was perfect. We booked a 3 day jungle trek, our guides were amazing and looked after us. The food and camping was great. We saw many orangutans,monkeys, gibbons and lots of other wildlife. Thanks for such a great time to all of the staff at cheeky monkeys. We will definitely be back again next year

Lovely spacious rooms with gorgeous balcony and view. Rooms were very clean with flushing toilets! Easy walk into town where there’s lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe and welcome here. They cooked us lovely banana pancakes for breakfast and a lovely lunch.

This place has a wonderful view of the rice fields. It is very quite and a few km away from the main area so on the streets to reach the hotel you get to see how local people really live. The staff is very friendly and pro active they organized the trekking (we got to see two huge orangutan!!!) for us and all the transfers we needed. They speak English very well and they bring you with the bike wherever you want. The bungalow is lovely and clean. I would return for sure. Don’t miss it!
