The Jungle Guide is such a good organization. They organize trips through the jungle with stays in the jungle. the guides grew up in the jungle and share their knowledge Their english is well and they even organize karaoke evenings or play games with you in the jungle (card tricks etc). It was so much fun, I learnt a lot and I saw the Orang Utans in wild life, also many other monkey. Their lodge is placed at a hill over the river. The bungalows are simple, with a very comfortable bed. I will defetly go back.

This is juste the perfect place ! At the end of the village, so more quiet, front of the gorgeous river. My bungalow was huge and very charming. But most of all Tia welcome you in the best way. She's very kind and gives very good advices, so you can trust her to organise a treck in the forest. I did it and it was a magic moment ( and physical ! ). I love Bukit Lawang, it's a very beautiful place and you can trust me : go to Rambai Tree Jungle lodge you will love it !

Came to jhony’s for two days trekking tour through the jungle and was an incredible experience, from the start seeing orangutans and many monkeys around , the five start hotel in the jungle for the first night was special and the next day rafting to coming back to our a accomodation in Bukit lawang was the perfect close . The place is absolutely great! Located in quiet part of the village, on the edge of the jungle, yet close to village centre and easy to walk around. Huts are beautiful, surrounded by wonderfully maintained garden. Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely equiped. There is no aircon, but fan was enough. Breakfast is tasty. Personnel is very friendly and helpful, there is very nice atmosphere in this place. They organized transport for us to and from Bukit Lawang. They arranged for us village tour (sugar factory, rice fields etc.) and 1 day jungle trek with rafting at the end, and all was perfect. Our guides Eman and Rizky took super care of us, we felt very safe with them. They shares their jungle knowledge with us, they did great job to show us many animals. We saw orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys, macaques, argus, monitor lizard! That was fantastic stay and great trek! Highly recommended!

We did the 2-day, 1-night hike and it was an amazing experience. Our guide was excellent – knowledgeable, friendly, and very informative. The staff were all so kind, helpful, and great company throughout our stay. I can highly recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely spacious rooms with gorgeous balcony and view. Rooms were very clean with flushing toilets! Easy walk into town where there’s lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe and welcome here. They cooked us lovely banana pancakes for breakfast and a lovely lunch.

Excellent stay in this beautiful and cosy lodge (only 2 cottages, so you feel very private). The most polite and friendly staff and extremely helpful and available at all times. Highly recommend if visiting with family or solo! We didn't order their food since we are vegetarians and had young kids with their dietary needs, but that was not an issue at all as they kindly let us use their kitchen for preparing our meals. The cottage itself was spacious and clean. Jungle trek and transport was also arranged promptly and the prices were very competitive. Thank you Bayu, JaJang, Henry, nDaka and the rest of the team for a memorable stay!
