I absolutely loved the view from the dinning area. Both the room and bathroom were very clean and cosy and had everyting that I needed,. The owner is a very kind and helpful lady, knowledgable about the area. She made sure to ask whether I had everything I needed before leaving me to relax in my room. The location is also great, very close to the centre.

The basic welcome pack was much appreciated. We had access to two bedrooms with ensuites, if required. Accommodation was fully equipped and instructions well defined. Mary booked us into the local Tavern. It was an easy walk and served excellent meals. Sat Nav in car took us to the property.

Great property, lovely decorated, sea view included, we loved everything about this except the check in instructions which were long and non informative. We were left waiting in the rain because nobody told us to check in through the hotel reception. Better communication would be recommended

Beautiful house and cozy rooms. Delicious super complete breakfast. Hosts are more than helpful and pleasant, we followed their their recommendations and it was a success. We forgot a piece of clothes and they did not only call us to let us know but also sent it to us. Excellent choice!

We had a wonderful time at Bertra House and Margaret was a fantastic host. Loved the breakfasts and waking up to the stunning view - also only a 5 minute walk from the gorgeous Bertra beach but still a short drive from Westport. Would definitely recommend!

- very queit and cosy hut with a wonderful mountain view. The internal decoration is very nice - since it's located on a farm, you may see some sheep around the hut :-) - you have everything essential to prepare meals, oil, salt, suger, cooking facilities.. - a heater and a fan were provided for hot and cold weather - there is large space under the bed to store bagpacks

Clear instructions were emailed to use for access. The house and the setting are breathtaking. Aidan has used really great quality fixtures and fittings. There were great touches like some milk and butter in the fridge and some snacks. Lots of recommendations listed out. We couldn’t fault anything. Everything worked and the house was spotless. Great to see house martins nesting. I also saw a beautiful hare. Perfect!

    The location is perfect. Right at the foot of Croagh Patrick. The welcoming pint of milk is such a lovely touch. The views of Clew Bay are wonderful to wake up to. The staff are fantastic, Barbara is so very accommodating. She was able to arrange a very late emergency request for us. You get great instructions on how to access your apartment. And all done remotely (helps for those that may have crippling anxiety and prefer to avoid human contact) Free WiFi, heated bathroom floors and ample secure parking.

    There was parking right outside and a small supermarket on the other side of the car park which was very helpful. The location was very good on the edge of town with some nice restaurants around the corner. The apartment was over two levels which was good with the upstairs kitchen/lounge providing a good view.

    Menu Breakfast was served to perfection. The room was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would need and expect. The location was central to town and the basement parking was benefitical as on-street parking was limited.
