Ease, the staff. Gym was superb, location- I ended up giving a video testimonial. What I loved was, my daughter was talking with a friend till about 4 am (teenagers!!) And the security guy asked her to use the banquet hall! I mean the care and calmness these folks have - who does it! So I would recommend this anytime! And yea, they gave us late (VERY LATE) checkout by 4 hours at 800 rs.. which is really cool!

The room was extremely comfortable, everything was incredibly clean and in good order. The bed was super comfortable and I had a great sleep. Shiv Shakti is a beautiful place. It is a little off road, which for us is great as it meant a quieter space. Ram and his family were so welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. The rooms are clean and comfy, the garden and the hang out space are peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the morning yoga too. This is a great place if you like nature, and quiet mornings to meditate and watch the sunlight slowly fill the valley.

Great location right near the Main Street,short walk to the river.Room big and comfortable with everything that is needed.Reception staff very nice,they checked me in so much earlier after the night bus then the actually check in time,it was a life saver! Very happy with my stay.

This is not only one of the best hotels we've stayed in in India but also one of the best hotels we've been to in the world. It's exquisitely done - stylishly understated and elegant woth gorgeous interior design. It's utterly peaceful with a lovely ghat on the Ganges. We loved the complimentary yoga each morning - once it was just us and the teacher and they matched yoga to our skill level perfectly. It's lovely just to sit and watch the river go by. Staff were wonderful and extremely accommodating when we had to stay late at the hotel before getting a night train. Thank you all so much.
