The rooms were kept neat and tidy and spacious good enough for 6 of us including a child bathrooms were hygienic and well maintained with 24 hours water availability. The home stay is spacious with three bed rooms a couple of them air conditioned and one of them not with A/C . Kitchen was well equipped but for a gas stove or electric stove and will be available soon as per the host . The home stay will be more efficient if equipped with an RO water purifier. The host and their family were very friendly and caring and were supportive .

I had a wonderful stay with a warm, welcoming family! I was well taken care of throughout my visit. The room was cozy and clean, and the food was absolutely amazing. They provided plenty of information and recommendations on where to go and what to do—from a morning boat tour to kayak and bicycle rentals, plus laundry facilities, everything you need was available. Keep in mind that the homestay is a bit remote, further from the main river, but I found this to be an advantage. It allowed me to rent a kayak and explore the small canals easily. Additionally, the homestay is within walking distance from the train station—if you choose to walk, follow the road near the temple.

We had great time staying at the mundro garden homestay, deepa and her husband are wonderful hosts. They help us with arranging boating and touring of the island. Deepa cooking is very tasty, we also had a cooking lesson and it was a nice experience, we hope will be able to come again .

A gem of a homestay and a gem of a host. From the moment we came to the property, it felt like a little slice of paradise tucked away right next to the water, abs beautiful home away from home! Location is spot on and the owner Suresh was also nice enough to give us his two bicycles for us to explore the island freely. Plenty of space inside and out, all well maintained. Great, homely area outside on the veranda to chill and have food/tea/coffee, which the family is always more than happy to prepare. Suresh will work hard every day to ensure we had everything we needed, including canoe ride, booking transport and also a ride on his very own motorbike around the island's more tucked away corners. We def recommend this homestay to anyone coming to Munroe Island and we hope to return again.

 Our stay at Green Chromide was the highlight of our trip to India! Munroe Island itself was enchanting and Green Chromide Homestay did it much justice. The hospitality is genuine and abundant. The room itself was super clean, spacious, very comfortable, beautiful, and very thoughtfully designed, we even enjoyed the selection of books they had in there. Finally the food was delicious, cooked by the owners themselves. I would highly recommend staying there any day. We should probably mention that they saved our lives...but that's a different story for another audience : )

Uni and his family are really welcoming and caring. They made us feel part of the island community. The food is really tasty and diversed.
