We had the most wonderful two weeks at La Casa di Campagna, hosted by the warm and welcoming Mara and Massimo at their idyllic Umbrian farmhouse. From the moment we arrived, the staff were always so friendly, smiley, and ready to help, which made us feel immediately at home. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the communal lounge area with its handy shared fridge and coffee maker. The property itself is spacious and beautifully kept, with a gorgeous swimming pool, plenty of loungers, and quiet corners throughout the gardens that are perfect for relaxing with a book. The restaurant was a real highlight – the food is absolutely outstanding, with traditional regional Italian dishes full of flavour, lots of variety, and delicious daily specials. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a plentiful buffet and the option of freshly cooked eggs and bacon. All in all, La Casa di Campagna is not only a wonderful place to stay, but also perfectly located for exploring Umbria, Lake Trasimeno, and Tuscany. We truly loved every moment of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

    The rooms each have their own access and parking right in front, something much appreciated if you have a motorbike and have to leave it outside. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well (as the temperatures were above 35°C during the day), and the pool was very enjoyable.

    Very pleasant room with great shower and comfortable bed. Lots of parking space for cars and a covered area provided for motorbikes - thanks! Staff were very pleasant and spoke good English which we appreciated. Breakfast was covered with a voucher for a nearby cafe which was delicious! Lake Magione is close by and is very picturesque. The local town has a good selection of restaurants - we ate in Al Sottobosco which was excellent.

    The wonderful atmosphere of an old villa with interesting interior design... The most important point is the amazing hostess, Irene. Very friendly and hospitable, sociable, ready to help with advice (parking in Perugia, local attractions, etc.). Every morning she pampered us with a special hot dish for breakfast and each time with truffle, having learned that we love it)). High recommendations!

    We stayed in one of the rooms at the front, facing west across the lake, which meant that we saw the beautiful sunsets from the balcony. However, it also meant we overlooked the parking lot, although it wasn't too noisy. The breakfast was pretty good.
