It is only a pleasant 10 minute walk through the park to the old town centre where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and interesting sights. On arrival we were upgraded to a "town view" room on the rear side which had an impressive view of the town and landscape around it. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel serves as a perfect base to explore Mondovi and around the bucolic Piedmont region. If one travels by car, there is a spacious underground parking lot. The hosts, Mari and Enzo, were very helpful and kind. They have plenty of knowledge to share about the surrounding area. The breakfast was outstanding and, quite frankly, fit for a king!
