Upon arrival, I was made to immediately feel at home by the host. I had been traveling since the morning from Catania by train, then ferry, then train again, a bus and finally a 4 hour drive. After the basic tour of amenities the host paused for a breath and asked if I was hungry. A moment later a phone call was made and the fact that travel caused me to miss lunch was a distant memory. Well appointed room, excellent bathroom, fresh, airy and comfortable. The people of Montescaglioso are the best!

The apartment was modern, clean, tidy, spacious, very comfortable and easy to find. It has a lovely view of the distant landscape from the balcony as well. The host was responsive, lovely and helpful, and we had a great stay overall.

Nice greeting from the owners. They did not speak much English but brought their daughter to interpret. The apartment had a washing machine and rooftop to dry and sit out in the sun. Bed was comfortable.

    The property is great, amazingly located in the city of Montescaglioso. When you open the window you can enjoy the beautiful view in the square and it is like going back in time. Parkings are available close to the property, which is very practical. The room is spacious and clean, we enjoyed very much staying there. Antonio, (the host) is welcoming and available for any help you need. We will definitely come back to Foresteria dell’Abbazia!

    Beautiful old building (originally part of the Abbaye) renovated to a high standard. Spacious bathroom & nice view out over the piazza. Easy, free parking just outside the rear entrance. Lovely hosts & snacks available in the communal dining area. Breakfast available at the cafe just around the corner - we also had a good, simple dinner at the same cafe.

    We loved this gorgeous little hilltop town. And the accommodation beside the Abbey! Everything was sparkling clean and a very high standard. The hosts have an eye for detail and the spacious room, kitchen area and outside terrace with flower pots and view was just such a pleasure to enjoy. Parking was right outside the door. Instead of dining out we walked to the nearby supermarket and bought ham, tomatoes, cheese, grapes and melon and enjoyed it on the terrace. A lovely night in Montescaglioso thank you.

    The whole unit was new, modern and immaculate. It was very quiet with a very comfortable bed. Kitchen was well stocked, large fridge. We made good use of the balcony which was nice and breezy. Plenty of parking. Easy walk to cafes, restaurants. Got some good tips from the owner. Loved the coffee machine.

    Foresteria is located in an amazing building that overlooks the piazza Cavalieri. When we informed Antonio, the owner, that we were about to arrive, when we got there he was already waiting for us so he could make sure we had a parking spot in front of the building. The room was really clean and spacious. It gets cleaned every day. Would highly recommend.

    Really appreciate the facilities and the location of the quiet appartment. Self check in was easy and it was great to park the car front of the door. Montescaglioso is a lovely town and I highly recommand Miramonte Holiday for your stay.

    House is located in the center, has street parking available. There are supermarkets around and house is furnished perfectly if you want to cook something fast and easy. Bed was extremely comfortable, shower was big and beautiful. Beautifully curated, well designed apartment. As a bonus, has a fireplace as well that will made your stay even more romantic.
