The hote Nicla was there and she was waiting for us to gave us the key and explain everything about her place. The apartment is very big, clean, with everything you can need and much more you can easily feel that you are in your own place. The garden is beautiful very maintained, with a lot of commodities in the middle of the mountain's and forest, if you want to relax and enjoy, connect with the nature that's your place and it's only 25min to reach the city center of Florence.

The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The place is beautiful and we enjoyed the garden and facilities a lot. The rooms are devoted very nicely with a mix of functional and traditional. The kids loved everything and of course the pool. There nice restaurants not far away and a grocery store, the hosting family will be happy to recommend stuff for sure. We visited Florence when we were there which is easy as it’s a 20/25 min drive. A small but cool thing that we enjoyed, the mobile signal is very poor (almost none) meaning that the pool time is pretty much connection free as the WiFi network is a little bit too far to reach properly. Overall a very nice place and stay!

If you’re doing the Via Degli Dei, you MUST stay here. This was perhaps the highlight of my trip - from the tasting menu (genuinely some of the best food that I had that week), to the views, the rooms, everything. Alfonso went above and beyond as a host. I ended up forgetting my Kindle and he drove to Fiesole so that I could get it back, saving me from having to book a very expensive taxi from Florence. Thank you again so very much for your kindness and amazing place!

Generally, all the food was amazing. This is a quiet area and very out of the way (which is what we wanted). It is extremely peaceful and a great getaway. There are nearby wineries which I definitely recommend, including Castello del Trebbio. The hotel staff organised a transfer to and from this place. Views at the hotel are outstanding, pool facilities are great too. A very positive stay.

    This is a beautiful family run Tuscan retreat. The house is warm and welcoming and has everything you need from a B&B with a few extra touches. Maria the owner goes out of her way to help you with recommendations for restaurant, sightseeing etc and will even book in advance for you to avoid disappointment. The pool is amazing surrounded by beautiful gardens. The breakfast is plentiful and the private parking is a bonus. The location is perfect, only a short drive into Florence but with the tranquility of the countryside.
