A newly renovated and modernised guesthouse, next to the church, with big warm comfortable rooms. Central heating. Big shared kitchen. Everything spotlessly clean. Excellent location for exploring the foothills of the Bergamasque Prealps. I stayed there overnight coming from Bergamo and continuing to Lecco and Como. Very quiet and peaceful in the winter.

Our stay at Amata Valgre was incredible!! Armidio & Leonardo were so helpful and friendly, we really got to completely relax with no issues at the accomodation, rooms have all the facilities to make it as comfortable as possible. Armidio showed us many things Valgreghentino had to offer, from its culture to its friendly people and food, it was an exceptionally special experience and one of our favourites in Italy. We didn’t have a car, but Armidio and Leonardo were so accommodating and helped us get around when we really needed it, when it was completely unnecessary to as well. We really appreciate how nicely these few days turned out and would recommend amata valgre to anyone! Definitely exceeded all our expectations, and we’re sure it will for you too!

This is the best place we have ever stayed at in our 35 years of global travel, Christina was an absolute fantastic host we highly recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone who is looking for beautiful Italian charm from a forgotten era, Christina has done a remarkable job with this place and I have to mention the breakfast was outstanding especially her home made Berry Crostata tart. Keep up the fantastic work Chris and can't wait to come back and stay longer.

Great stay in a 1500 year old castle! Enjoyed the afternoon by the pool and exploring the grounds. The host was very welcoming. We had a delicious pizza prepared on-site for dinner with wine on the balcony. The atmosphere was great in this building due to its age. There was no aircon but it stayed cool in the building due to the thickness of the walls, it was 32C but still cool in the bedroom. There was only one other couple staying so we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
