Fantastic place! Silent, tidy, characteristic, comfortable etc. Buildings are old but they are well renovated and fresh. Apartment was very nice. Friendly owner and staff really makes you feel welcome. It’s well worh of the drive!

This hotel was just fantastic!! Utentic mediviele athmosphere with great thinking of every detail. Dont compromise and take the suite!! We wanted to get the feel of the renesans days and there is no other place to feel it than here. We just fell in love for the hotel and the city itslef. Gorgeous couple hosting the beautiful casa! Lovely rural setting in beautifully renovated and maintained accomodation. Dinner was made especially for me and was delicious!! The hosts were even kind enough to drive me back to the Via Francigena path in the morning to save me the walk back up the hill 🙏.

This is an exceptionally beautiful place to stay. We were greeted by Nicoletta, who showed us to our room. The room was very clean with everything we needed. Breakfast was also very good, with a large selection of homemade cakes. Roberta is a lovely lady, who made sure we had everything we needed, even at breakfast. This place is ideal if you are looking for nature walks as it is totally immersed in nature. Very good restaurant, close to the place too. Divine food.

It was a family run hotel with friendly staff. I can't speak Italian with only limited words, but the staff went out their way to help in any way they could. Location is bang in the middle of Portifino and Pisa and is a beautiful mountain view. The food from the restaurant is amazing!
