Everything is so luxurious but feels so good and warm. People are so nice and warm welcome. Dinner and breakfast are sophisticated and delicious. The food was nice and fresh. There was a private room for both meals. Breakfast with a mountain view was spectacular.

Great experience of staying here. It was calm and relaxing to have open air bath in the middle of forest. We could see tranquil atmosphere of Amagase onsen village with wall-like mountain alongside the river. Kaiseki dinner was fantastic. We could see true Japanese hospitality here. Ukiha is a happy place to stay. The owner and staff were generous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. There was an elegance in every aspect. A very traditional Japanese experience for us. The food in our own dining area was excellent.

The owner, who is very friendly, as is all staff actually. In the middle of the charming old town of Hita, a relatively unknown gem. Make sure to book dinner, which is served in an adjacent restaurant, which belongs to the hotel. Amazing standard of cooking, Japanese with some international influences. The breakfast, served in the hotel, is Japanese and excellent as well. Our room had a private bath and shower. On top of that, there are two Onsen in the hotel as well, who can be reserved for private use by the hotel guests. Free parking right in front of the hotel.
