    To start with, the room was really big, with a nice (limited) seaside view, and the public onsen was as you should expect from a proper Japanese onsen hotel. Private onsens available, alongside a scenic cave, and the usual entertainment you would find in a ryokan or similar. Free parking and free WiFi, plus decent breakfast, and impeccable service from staff. All at a very sensible price.

    A great house with more than comfortable space for four people, this villa offers a kitchen space, a private onsen tube and a balkony in an area close to walkable sightseeing spots for Izu. There is also free parking available which is helpful as you might not be able to get here pretty easily without a car. Restaurants and shops are also mostly reachable with a car. The host let us use the washing machine which was extremly helpful. The area is also great for diving as Futo is within walking distance and many dive centers are around.

    Clean and quaint accommodation with very friendly staff. The room I booked was large and comfortable for our family of 4. Breakfast options were good with unlimited coffee throughout the day. Free parking on-site. Highly recommend driving your own vehicle to get to the location.
