The location was perfect for getting away from the busy streets of Tokyo, though I highly recommend renting a (small!) car to get here, as it is tucked away from public trsnsportation routes. Our room was clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Service was spot on, communication with our host was easy and quick. We never saw any of the staff though, which made the quality of service just that much more impressive. We were the only guests staying here at the time, so we had all facilities to ourselves (an introvert's dream). There were plenty of instructions in english for all the general how-tos, check-in and check-out was easy using the machine. Prepare to face some bugs around the area, we had a few interesting encounters with moths by the entrance. The room itself was equipped with bugspray and deterrents, though we didn't need them as our room was perfectly wildlife free. The bug screen in the private onsen kept the bugs at bay, allowing us to bathe and sleep while enjoying the sounds and smells of the surrounding nature!

The owner Jun was extremely helpful and provided great information which made our stay memorable. He has recommendation on where to buy food for cooking, great attractions, and good restaurants. We were given the choice of a Seaview room which exceeded our expectations. The whole family was welcoming, including their cat!

We had an overall amazing time at Elysian View. Obviously the view, sunset and the „middle of nowhere“ feeling paired with the sounds of the ocean and nature are truly magical, but the house is also well thought out with so many small details and touches that make you feel right at home and very welcomed by the hosts. The beds are super comfortable as well, the view while taking a bath is incredible and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals. All the different house plants also make the place feel very alive and in touch with the surrounding nature. Returning from a hike on our second day we felt like coming home , even though we had just arrived. I hope this place never changes, will definitely come back ! Thank you so much!

Great apartment with everything you could need. Very quiet. Detailed instructions for all amenities and trash disposal in perfect English (rare in Japan). Close to some great sights, restaurants, a convenience store, and a 24-hour coin laundry. In summer, the nearby beach would be fantastic. I'm not sure about onsens but there must be some within 20 mins by car.

This is an entire house in Japanese style, 和室 are big and clean. I think it could fit more than 2 persons. Location is good, close to the cherry blossoms, and not far from the convenience stores by driving. Great attention to details- enough clothes hanger, glasses, USB cables, travel info pamphlets are all prepared.
