We loved everything about this beautifully renovated old house. Seiko is an exceptional host with careful attention to guest comfort. She also assisted us to book a couple of excellent restaurants in Shimanto.

Beautiful traditional house, with some lovely design touches and a very well equipped kitchen with delicious coffee and tea available. We enjoyed a wander down to the river and submersible bridge, and took a Canadian canoe onto the river - very relaxing, with stunning scenery. Kenji was an excellent host; helpful, informative and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here - we found it a very calming place and enjoyed our 2 night stay immensely.
