Great service and food. Iiyama line was suspended but they offered a shuttle from bus stop nearby. It really cheered me up with the real vibe of “yukiguni” and outdoor onsen when snow flowing over me.

Amazingly charming historical house, maintained by owner with lots of love for every tiny detail. It was a place I’ve never been but I felt melancholic, absolutely a fantastic place to stay. Pity that we spent only for 14 hours in the house.

Satoshi san was so helpful and dependable. We felt relieved when he extended his time and effort to pick up us from Nakazato yuzawa sta. instead of Echigo yuzawa sta. I don't know where to start.The in house onsen, the hospitality, the futon and tatami style, the food, the amenities, the shuttle to the ski resorts, the station and restaurants , and most importantly the people!

The water pressure in the showers is really good and there are heaps of boot and glove dryers Best part is the staff who are so so friendly and go the extra mile - they dropped us off at the train station when we couldn't get a cab and were running late for our train
