Everything. Ike san was the most responsive host during our trip. He gave us valuable recommendations on what to do around the area. His house is beautiful and idyllic. Tiny details show how much Ike san cares about this guests. The location is easily accessible by car and the drive is so picturesque. Highly recommend that you come in summer and enjoy Kayaking time or skiing in winter. We stayed in March, it’s cold but he gave us very thick quilt and we slept soundly through the night.

We were on a cycle trip across Japan and it was perfect from the moment we entered, with spaces for bikes etc. then everything was super easy to use and understand. Sauna! What’s not to like!

Lovely old house - beautifully maintained - didn't feel like leaving at all - right in the middle of the main street but extremely quiet and cosy - had all the facilities one could need and plenty of room - the kinda house where you want to stay in and enjoy with your loved ones!

Aki is a very kind and helpful host :) Love the traditional Japanese house . It is so beautiful surrounding the trees and farm . And you can see the train outside the house and shrine next to the house.It is very calm and relaxing staying this place !The dinner and breakfast is amazing and delicious! Also there is a lovely cat :)

Gujo Hachiman is a lovely small town, and あぽろん is ideally located as a base for a visit. The accommodation is shared with the owners, but is private. Bedrooms are upstairs, but the bathroom and toilet is downstairs. The hosts were very helpful, despite having limited English, thanks to Google translate.
