The whole experience! The room was brilliant, the hammock was amazing and the the views were just stunning. The staff were brilliant and so helpful with booking tickets and showing us around. I even left an item behind when we left and a member of staff took the time to send it back to me through the post! This place didn’t have any reviews when we booked but I’m happy to say this family run business is a must go to if your planing to stay in the area. 5 stars 10/10, thank you team it was amazing

This was the best stay I’ve had while traveling down through Laos from Luang Prabang. Totally recommend it to everyone! Alex and Leymon are super friendly. they even helped arrange a ride to Don Det and were quick to reply to messages before I arrived. Especially, Leymon’s Asian food was amazing, honestly as good as what I’ve had in the actual countries. Can’t wait to try it again! Between meals we played cards, chatted, and hung out with their dogs and cats—such a chill vibe. The room was clean and comfy, with a soft bed, towels, and shampoo. The shower has an open ceiling, so you might notice it when it rains, but it didn’t bother me at all. Loved the whole experience!

We enjoyed our stayed here! The room with fan and private bathroom, there is no hot shower option for this price, there are some A/C room around but we have to pay 25 - 30 dollars more. So we enjoyed to stayed here.

Brand new place with a perfect view, red sunsets over Mekong. Very clean and comfortable room. Restaurants serving good food nearby. Walking distanse to the port. The owner was very sweet and helpful. I missed a small refrigerator (minibar) for drinks and more hooks for hanging clothes. The don't accept cards, cash only! There is no ATM at Don Det.

Great location, with the view to the river. The bed is large and comfortable, there is a super spacious mosquito net and a fan. A large bottle of water and an extra toilet roll available every morning. It's a bit pricier than most on Don Det, but you do get comfort, calm, and cleanliness. Enjoyed our stay.

Mamapiang could not have been more friendly and enthusiastic! We also hired bikes from here for the afternoon. Our stay was great! - just a shame we couldn’t have stayed longer.
