Ravanna Garden is a boutique hotel like no other. The staff, food, rooms, garden, pool, beach are all exceptional. It is a little oasis in an otherwise busy world! On Arrival there is building works going on which a little off putting, but no one is disturbed by it and once walked beyond it you arrive into the oasis! The rooms are large, super clean and comfortable with every facility needed . NOTE - on arrival you are asked to let them know if ,and when, you would like your room cleaned. Remember this is an eco hotel, therefore how often do you really need your towels and linen changing ?! The food is exceptional, organic, local, and you can even buy their own local spices. The service throughout is excellent and they cannot do enough to ensure your stay with them is nothing short of everything you would like. A walk along the beach is must to the harbour wall where there is a safe swimming spot, and many of the locals converge there. Be brave and stay longer than 1 or 2 nights, it is very much well worth it - there are added surprises along the way and the team do everything they can. Bikes are available to go the local temple and a visit with a hotel guide to show the effects of the Tsunami is a must, plus the wildlife and roadside stores make for a very interesting visit.

Casa Vacansa was the most surprisingly amazing accommodation of our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The whole homestay is decorated with so much love and attention to detail, something we found missing in most other accommodations where everything is more "functional". The room, bathroom and especially the terrace were amazing and it's a nice and romantic atmosphere for two having your dinner on the big porch. The food was very good (we had Sri Lankan Sea Food Curry) and it was fantastic and the service even better. The owner has 15 years of experience in a luxury hotel and it just shows with his service and attention to detail and his great English. We also did 2 tours to the nearby bird sanctuary and the Ussangoda Beach with him and had a great time. The area is very quiet so it's a good getaway from the busy hustling and bustling of the coastal towns to relax and enjoy the quiet. I almost never write feedbacks but our stay here was just too great not to write one.

The location was picturesque, staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the stay was really comfortable with all the comforts that you'd expect in any good hotel. One of our best hotels in hole sri lanka. Starting with the friendly and helpfull staff, the beautiful beach area in front of the hotel. Nobody disturbs you and relaxing with kids is absolutely possible. Also the prices in the reataurant are realy fair. There is not a lot around even if you have a car like us. So we extended our stay over for 3 more nights. One of the good hotels that have the AC not directly in front of the bed.

Everything, wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful location near lagoons. Lovely walks around and about. Plenty of wildlife to see. Refreshing pool on site. Great restaurant too. Room was spacious and brand new.

everything was excellent: new hotel with all the needed furniture and nicely styled, big bathroom and room, very clean. Breakfast on the balcony (upper floor) with nature sounds was amazing. This was the most beautiful place we stayed in our whole vacation in Sri Lanka. The room and bathroom were very big and clean and just perfect, the pool is an amazing assat also. But the most important thing is that the hosts, Gintare and Chami, were extremly frendly and helpful. They fulfilled our every wish. The food they prepared for us was also the best we ever had. We can not recommend this place enough!
