Everything about our stay was wonderful and the hosts made sure that we had a great stay. The room was clean and has a powerful and hot shower. The balcony and pool have beautiful views and are perfect after a day exploring Dambulla and Sigiriya. Our hosts were happy to prepare whatever food we wanted, we asked for their choice and both nights it was delicious. Breakfast was also excellent, and plentiful! I wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights!

We genuinely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. It felt like coming home – not to one mom, but to many welcoming moms. All the staff took such good care of us and made sure we had the best time. They had great tips on sightseeing and booked a fair priced tuktuk to drive us around Dambulla. The buffet was varied and delicious; the room and garden were tidy, beautiful and clearly looked after; the bed was super comfortable. We really hope we can come back one day.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for 2 nights and we loved the room, it was really comfortable and clean! The hosts are lovely, always with a friendly attitude with a smile on their faces! This accommodation is perfect. The family was lovely. From the minute we entered this home, we felt right at home. We were greeted with fresh homemade juice, which was beautiful. The host chatted to us about what to do during our stay and gave really good advice on our future travel around Sri Lanka. I would definitely recommend having dinner while staying here. All the food we had while staying at this home stay was so tasty and plentiful. The dinner was actually our favourite meal we had since arriving in sri lanka. The breakfast was also very nice and very big. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a mosquito net and a fan in the room. The home stay is a bit outside of the town but the host offers to drop and collect you from the bus station. It is very close to the temple. This was one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka.

My partner and I received exceptional personal service from Sanjay and his wife Madhu who own Simoya, with nothing too much trouble. Breakfast on the balcony that overlooks the jungle with its monkeys, squirrels and other wildlife was a fantastic experience, with the traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts that the couple served us each morning absolutely delicious. Sanjay even made some phone calls to find out where I could get a spare part for my rental car. It was a great relaxing and refreshing stay!

Super lovely couple with their gorgeous 3 boys , we were cool and amazing dinner so so good we were very grateful. Breakfast was a wonderful feast too very clean good Wi-Fi peaceful , close to dambulla temple . Recommend.

Wonderful experience at this very cozy and family-oriented guest house. The brand-new wooden room is incredibly comfortable. You quickly feel at ease in the environment, and the owners are truly delightful. I used their service to get to Sigiriya and explore the temple and main attractions. The dinner, which needs to be requested in advance, was excellent, and the breakfast was generous. It's also possible to arrange a tuk-tuk pick-up from the bus station. One of the best guest houses, even with the tropical rain. It felt like home.
