We felt like we were at home! We bought our own groceries and cooked our own meals exactly how we preferred. We cooked up some BBQ for dinner because the villa comes with a BBQ Machine as well! It’s almost the perfect getaway from home that still makes you feel so comfortable and cozy! Every room was equipped with ACs which was a massive advantage to us! Kitchen were fully equipped from saucepans to toasters! We had multiple choice of locations as to where do we eat… Definitely one of the best Homestay styles Villas I’ve been to.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience! Our stay at the Dormero Hotel in Sri Lanka was nothing short of amazing! The staff here is truly the best we have ever encountered – attentive, friendly, and always going above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience. The hotel itself is stunning, with a fantastic ambiance and exceptional hospitality. Without even asking, they graciously upgraded our room because there was availability – such a thoughtful gesture that made our trip even more special. Breakfast was an absolute highlight – delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. The top manager deserves special recognition for being incredibly kind, approachable, and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you, Dormero Hotel, for creating such unforgettable memories for us. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to everyone!

A fantastic stay in a serene and nature-filled setting! The property has two well-designed suites with a common pool, creating a perfect balance of privacy and relaxation. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings made the experience truly refreshing. The food was outstanding, and the surprise cake arrangement added a memorable touch. This is my home in Sri Lanka. I love the people, I love the lake, I love the THE CATS and the dog. Came here to stay for a few days, thought I could stay maybe for 2 weeks if I like it, and ended up staying for 4 weeks in total :) The location is perfect for me. It is away from the crowded areas, very close to the lake so you are surrounded by nature in a quite place basically. It is also not very far away from the town. So you can take the bike, rent the scooter, get on the local bus or tuktuk and it only takes a few minutes to reach to the town. The rooms are comfortable and clean, you can have a boat ride, you can use the kitchen and cook for yourself too. You can also have a cooking class for a small price. I had my best rice and curry here in this hostel. Thank you Berto, Sri, and Manee for having me. I can’t wait to come back again.

So, we were 3 friends, and we spent an incredible 8 days in the Temptation. Great location for young people. Lots of tourists, clubs, restaurants and the beach with high waves, excellent for surfing. The staff was great, very kind, helpful, friendly, able, and ready to help with everything you need. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but I guess a little bit small. We took 3 rooms because the price was good and it was great. You can find ants and sometimes some small lizard on the wall, but that was ok for us :D they're not dangerous. I guess it's ok for Sri Lanka weather. Overall it's one of the best hotels nearby in Hikkaduwa. P.S. One of my friends decided to stay for another 7 days, he liked his stay so much
