We had such a wonderful time! Thank you for this amazing experience! The location was peaceful and picturesque and the family hosting us was incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel at home – truly wonderful! The meals they prepared were the highlight of our stay, with the best home-cooked Sri Lankan food we’ve ever tasted. An unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic hospitality and stunning surroundings.

The host Kalahara is kind and helpful and treats guests as his family.Nothing is too much for him. PROPERTY: Lovely homestay surrounded by trees and lovely garden.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and airy. All the facilities like hot water, airconditioning, water pressure etc was perfect. BREAKFAST:Our breakfast was included and it was the best we had in Srilanka.Its varied everyday and its plentiful and very tasty.(SEE PHOTOS) We had 2 dinners cooked by his wife and they were delicious and generous portions. TOURS: Host Kalhara will organize tours at reasonable rate and his driver is a very nice person. we did a tour and driver was very patient and took us around paddy fields. Thank you Kalahara for a wonderful stay. LOCATION: Walking distance

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Exceptional hospitality, with very clean and spacious rooms featuring an open bathroom concept. The staff is incredibly helpful, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Every request is fulfilled, and the food is absolutely delicious and fantastic. Perfect experience! Jeewa is an amazing person and his whole family is really lovely. The rooms are brand new, the AC unit was in perfect condition. Everything is clean and I had an amazing sleep. It's a really nice feeling to support a family like them, they put their heart into this project. Don't hesitate to book here! Also Jeewa can organize safari trips and a whole bunch of activities, I even got a free ride in his tuktuk! Thanks Jeewa for an amazing stay!

Very nice hosts, loved chatting with Wanda and Leo om the evenings! Amazing food, the curries for dinners were the best we ever had. The location is right in the jungle, so we made friends with gekkos and squirrels. A great stay!

Ruwan and his family/team are great hosts. They organise all you need and more if you have issues (like us with incovenient cash notes, shuttle from the train station, etc.). Would always recommend staying in Visu Villa hotel if one is in the region of Habarana. The food is great as well and always fresh made. The tours are fantastic as well.

What a lovely place to stay, wish it was longer. Air con worked great. Friendly dog that guarded our room at night, so cute. Our host was lovely, calling us the day before to get the check in time right. And also made us a late delicious breakfast after we came back from our safari.
