To be honest ..there wasn't anything not to like ..the Staff were very welcoming and helpful and always available. This was an exceptional accommodation on Sri Lanka. Rooms were absolutely clean, host Faiz was absolutely professional and very kind. He was always making sure we had everything. He and his wife provided amazing food. We had breakfast and diner twice. It was delicious, varied and a there was a plenty of it. Faiz provided us all information we needed for the walks around and even helped us to catch a bus to Colombo. From the very first minute to the end, he really provided everything we needed and much more.

The Glenrock was an amazing experience. The location and environment were idyllic with mountains around it and an ever flowing river on the periphery. We spotted large billed birds in the trees, a mongoose, chipmunks and a giant squirrel who visited every morning for bananas. The rooms were large and equipped with all you needed, the bed was very comfortable and WiFi worked in all the rooms. The staff were amazing always on hand to help delivering ice, drinks and food to our rooms. The breakfasts were out of this world so tasty and so substantial. Dinner in the hotel dining area was so well managed it felt like a fine dining experience with drinks topped up, refills of food and attention to all the details. Compliments to the chefs the food was outstanding. We were taken to visit the waterfalls and the staff were very attentive insuring our safety at all times. The river in the grounds of the hotel provided us with such a giggle whilst we had "fish therapy", tiny fish nibbling your feet leaving them smooth and refreshed. We loved our stay here and would like to thank Iresh, Thushara, Duminda and the chefs. We would highly recommend you indulge in this experience

Am told that the owner, while operating an agricultural business, loves nature and leaves the majority of the extensive land to nature. The rock pools in the river are perfect for swimming and the waterfall on the property is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen in Sri Lanka.
