This villa is amazing. We would have loved to stay there for a few more days. Beautifully furnished with great style. Pure luxury. Pieter, one of the staff members, was also a warm person who fulfilled our every wish, especially when it came to breakfast. We would love to come back.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Crown Hotel in Ampitiya and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the General Manager and his team. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests - truly commendable. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful views and immaculate facilities, but it was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the General Manager that truly made my stay memorable. Very spacious and comfy room at such a reasonable price! You can arrange Tuk Tuk transfer to reach this place. Ashan is really a friendly and helpful host. I booked a customized day trip here too and truly enjoyed my time exploring Kandy with Ashan. Do check out this wonderful accommodation when you think of visiting Kandy!

Our room was spacious with good air con and a nice hot shower. There was soap/ shower gel and shampoo provided and two drying racks to hang clothes which was very useful. We also really liked having access to a kitchen to prepare breakfast, as well as lots of areas to relax in the living space- it felt like we were at home! The garden space and seating areas are lovely. Udaya the manager was incredibly helpful during our stay and gave us lots of advice on where to go/ what to do. The property is about a 20 minute uphill walk from the town centre. This didn’t bother us as we like walking & tricycles are very easy to get, but something to consider.
