Hosted by a lovely family, really friendly and showed us around the local area. The evening meal was delicious, and were given juices and coffees also throughout the stay. Surroundings were beautiful and peaceful and perfect location for exploring the national park. Accommodation was newly built, clean and comfortable.

Clean room, very friendly host and very cute puppies !! (called Sera and Nora) We are two girls and felt very safe! The host was very helpful and helped us with arranging a safari. The safari was super nice, we saw the leopard, elephant and our favourite: the sloth bear. For a full day safari they arrange breakfast, lunch and some snacks so it was good worth of money.

Very nice accommodation in a calm location near the Wilpattu National Park. It has a nice and clean pool and is in the middle of nature, which makes it truly peaceful. Besides the nice environment, I would like to underline the hospitality of the people working here. They arranged a nice tour in the park for a price lower than what we found online, they cooked delicious meals, prepared a packed breakfast for our tour and coffee to help us not to sleep in the park. 🙂 I would definitely recommend staying here.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lavendish Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and a great atmosphere. Special thanks goes to Pradeep the manager of the property. One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful ambiance and the peaceful surroundings, making it a perfect place to relax. The food was also fantastic, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, Lavendish Hotel is a great choice for a comfortable and memorable stay. I highly recommend it!

Literally everything. From the amazing buffet dinner they prepare for us, til the very uptight safari and guide they have associated with to do the guide safaris in wilpattu national park (btw this guide is the absolute best, incredibly knowledgeable and sweet person, made us see 3 leopards on a bad day...) The rooms are splendid, very nice and comfortable beds, bed sheets made in heaven... and the resort itself is very beautiful and just 10 min walk away from a splendid lake where we can also take a dive. Amazing

    Stayed here a couple nights for the Tuktuk Tournament. Excellent location for Wilpattu National Park. Very cheap!! Good and plentiful breakfast. We were sent with a packed breakfast on the morning of our Wilpattu NP safari which was appreciated. Under cover parking for our TukTuk.
