Lovely serene grounds with some very new individuals villas - some with a pool and some without. Super clean, nice staff and great location if you drive your own Tuktuk or are happy to book one for transport to Pinnawala (10 mins drive away).

Despite a bit small, the room is well equiped with air-con, TV, hot water shower. The hotel is affiliated with a bigger hotel therefore breakfast (which is the best buffet breakfast i had in sri lanka) was at the other hotel with a free tuk tuk or short walk via beautiful village. Elephant viewing even swimming pool is also available at the other hotel. The contact person Andrew is such a nice gentleman that he arranged everything perfectly. The host family is also very friendly that they tried their best to entertain my 3-year old son and he really likes them.

Once you enter the property is like stepping back in time, where modernity mixes with history in a very relaxing atmosphere, the staff is young and willing to go above and beyond of your expectation, nothing is impossible, a smile is guaranteed, bed are comfortable and rooms are super well equipped and really chic, food is very good and we cannot wait to come back good job guys!!! This is a pretty new property located in a privileged area with an incredible view. The rooms are super beautiful as you can see in the pictures. We found it a perfect place to spend the night after visiting the Elephant Freedom Project which is few minutes away. They also have an infinity pool with a great view on the terrace where you can also enjoy breakfast in the morning if weather allows. They also provide dinner/lunch and the menu has a big variety of different kinds of food for a very fair price. We tasted it and it was amazing. The manager was very attentive of our needs and did everything possible to make our stay perfect.

Location is perfect, just next to the river where Elephants bath, and with a balcony over the street they use to come and go to the river. staff is very accommodating and let us check out late for free. Beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms are nice.
