This hotel is an absolute gem in Sri Lanka. We've visited several places, and this is our favorite. It's beautifully located, allowing you to walk for miles along the beach without encountering anyone. The beach is pristine, free of litter, unlike some other places in Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The service is excellent, and the restaurant offers a delicious and diverse menu. There are plenty of excursion options nearby, with stunning wetlands and lagoons perfect for bird watching. This wonderful place has been crafted with great care. Interestingly, it is also very affordable compared to other hotels. It's definitely worth traveling a bit further to enjoy this exceptional and beautiful spot. An absolute must-visit. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Best and first choice in Rekawa!Amazing new property, spacious rooms, bathroom, cozy terrace with super comfortable furniture. Great pool with a bar, good restaurant. Very nice host and overall the team, big thank you to everyone for our stay. Not many F&B options in the area, swimming in the ocean is not an option. But what you can a get is a beauty of nature, tranquility and full relax.

We loved our time here! My brother and I stayed here for two nights. All of the food was amazing, we chose to eat dinner there as well. The hosts catch the fish themselves. Very clean and comfortable, and good wifi. The best thing was the host family. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. They were able to help us arrange transportation to Udawala. We highly recommend staying here for an authentic and peaceful experience.

Absolutely charming boutique hotel, ideal for a family or a couple vacation! It’s located on a private beach with soft waves, so we could swim easily with my small kid. The pool is stunning. The food and cocktails are lovely! Special thanks to Zander, the owner, for his personal attention to all guests and control and care of all details during our stay. And Loki dog is our big love. Thank you for our amazing stay! We’ll definitely come back again.

A very lovely accommodation in a quiet and nice neighbourhood near turtle beach. Chathy (the owner) made sure we felt comfortable and like home. He was very helpful regarding organising a turtle watching and giving recommendations for restaurants, beaches. Sri Lankan Breakfast was extra delicious!

One of the best experiences in Sri lanka trip within 3 weeks. Amazing place, not only appartment but all Rekava. Definately one of the most underrated places in Sri lanka. If you are in doubts - you definately should go there. Peace, silence, nature, ocean, turtles, amazing people - this is Rekava. Lookout lodge is excelent accomodation - new house, all clean and comfy, perfect location near the beach and turtle watch center. Good restaurant nearby (reccomended by Chami). Excelent breakfast and peacefull conversations with owner. We felt like home there and all our wishes were fulfilled with smile. And - there is a pool now - we where the first users and it is great. Appriciated by our boys. Sorry that we booked just 2 nights there, would have liked to stay at least a couple more days. The Sea Bay Inn feels like one of a kind. The owner and the complete staff have been so nice and welcoming, it felt like home. The room was new, modern and very clean. We've been able to reach the closest supermarket by foot easily and even walked to the city center. The closest beach to the Sea Bay Inn is just down the road and absolutely beatiful. There are not many spots outside of direct sunshine, but the beach is not very crowded. If you need any travel advice around town the owner will help you swiftly, her son is also available with his TukTuk. All in all a very pleasent stay and we would love to come back!
