This was an absolutely amazing place. The host couple were really nice, a full 10. But a small warning, if you are even a little unsure of your driving skills, ask the host couple for help to get to the accommodation. The last 4km is really challenging driving, a dirt road uphill. The accommodation will reward you when you get there :)

This is a very stylish hotel and restaurant, located by the main valley road (but it was never too loud) between Mavrovo and Debar. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The restaurant downstair was one of the best in Mavrovo region, serving traditional Macedonian food (excellent grill and vegetarian dishes) . Jovan Bogorski monastery is just around the corner and Duf waterfalls are not far from there. You can by some local products such as honey in the restaurant. And the hosts were exceptional, organizing on the spot my daughters small birthday party. Definitely recommended!

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay. It was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need, making it feel like a home away from home. The cleanliness was impeccable, and everything was in top condition. We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Lakeview Hotel. The staff kindly upgraded our room for free, which was such a pleasant surprise. The spa was relaxing and well-maintained, and the restaurant served delicious meals with a breathtaking view of Mavrovo Lake.
