Laura and Ulises (and Chula, their dog) were amazing hosts, super accommodating and were very helpful when we had travel difficulties from Oaxaca. They have great contacts for experiences in the area, we recommend surfing! The hotel was beautiful, very clean and we loved the ‘guest house’ vibe and laid back nature. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas available for use which was really helpful in the heat. The location was great, near lots of restaurants and bars and just a short taxi ride to swimmable beaches. The pool and view of the beach and sunsets made for a perfect stay.

We had a great stay at Gallo de Mar. Very nice rooms and in a really peaceful location, even though it’s near busy areas. Matteo and his colleague were really helpful, booking us taxis and surfing lessons.

    We were glad that there was a private parking lot as we rented a car. We enjoyed a lot the pool and balcony of our room with a great sea view. Aircon on the room was also great to cool off.
