Highly recommend staying here for a longer duration. It was close enough to several beaches, either by walking or easy shuttles, but was also quiet and secluded. The location itself, as well as the spaces within the hotel, are beautiful and set up with a lot of intention. The owner was friendly, informative and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here if you're trying to surf, explore or if you want sunrise yoga and to reconnect quietly. You are close to several restaurants as well as on location kitchen who are extremely accommodating.

The accommodation is very clean and up to date. It's a little outside the city (15 minutes on foot), but that also means more peace and quiet. A large swimming pool allows you to cool off at the end of the day. There is a bit of a lack of kitchen equipment to cook adequately.

The property is just incredible. The villa with the private pools are so nice, and the views are so worth it. We were there during wet season but we still had quite plenty of sun. Altho there is not A/C, there is a very good bed cooling system. Food portions are quite big and tasty so sharing is totally fine if you are not so starving :) Oh, and the coffee, the smell is already amazing.

Central location in San Juan Del Sur. Room was really comfortable. Communal areas were great and nice to relax around the property. Property was kept clean and breakfast in the morning was good, but not lots of choices.

Highly recommend staying at Buena Onda. Baba was super welcoming from the very first minute and makes you feel at home. Celine’s breakfasts are out of this world and really made my morning every day. Both of them were amazing hosts. The hostel is super clean, has an amazing view and outdoor/coworking area. The rooms are super spacious and stay cool during the night. Excellent value for money. Can’t wait to visit again.

Very nice old school tropical wooden house that is converted into a hotel/hostel. The location is great as it is only about 30 meters from the beach and also close to the city center and plenty of shops cafe and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped with everything we needed. Parking was also available and the breakfast is limited but still very good. The site is also properly secured 24/7 and is fully local owned.

Lovely, charming traditional house converted to hotel use. Comfortable communal areas such as upper and lower lounge and pool to relax, air conditioned room, nice breakfast. Parking available, central location seconds from the beach. Fairly good value for money. It was ideal for our large family but looks like it would suit any kind of traveller.
