We are 3 guys from Canada who came in Popoyo for surfing and tele work. We had an amazing experience at Mar Andentro. It’s just by the beach, the pool is great, it’s quiet for tele work, the owners and staff is amazing and the breakfast (included) at the restaurant is really good. There is Rancho Santana surf spot juste beside. There is even a yoga plateform, a skateboard area and many spot to relax by the beach or the pool. The wifi was great for tele work too.

"Perfect location near the surf spots with a great vibe throughout the hostel. The staff and guests were all lovely, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing, and everything — from the rooms to the common areas — was spotless. I absolutely loved the style and furnishings. This is definitely the place to be in Nicaragua!

Such clean and nice accommodation!! The owner is so responsive to messages, has made us feel so welcome and has helped us with everything we need. I recommend staying here, we’ve absolutely loved it! This accommodation looked like a castle from a fairy tale. Very quiet and peaceful environment. Nice clean rooms, terrace with a beautiful view. The pool is also a big plus, although I didn't have time to take a bath because I was exploring the surroundings and the ocean. It's a bit further from San Juan del sur, but the very helpful and friendly Alvaro drove me to town and back. A short walk away is a beautiful quiet beach with a great bar and food.
