From the moment I arrived at this charming B&B, I was welcomed by Alice and Harry, the most amazing hosts who made me feel right at home. Their warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for a relaxing stay. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with cozy and inviting rooms that are perfect for a peaceful getaway. My room was immaculate, with thoughtful touches like plush bedding, soft lighting, and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The breakfast each morning was truly the highlight of my stay. It was freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients and had something for every taste. From homemade pastries to deliciously cooked eggs, every dish was a treat. Alice and Harry were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my stay, from the comfortable amenities to the personal touches that made the experience so special. A little house in a barn in the middle of the nature. We only stayed one night due to a tournament in the area and for us it was more a practical stay. But this is the place where you should do your break to just relax and breath. Have your coffee on the little terrace and watch the birds and the horses around you. Or read a book next to the fireplace in the living room.

    Easy parking as they have their own parking place. The restaurant is typical van der Valk and the food quality is good. All facilities for having drinks or food are there. The hotel is on the outskirt of Drachten but I didn't mind walking to town after a long drive from Germany.
