Beautiful building that tastefully mixes modern with antique. Fascinating art and antique furniture and beautiful terrace and there is a small sauna and games room. Beach is just over the road and the view is incredible. The hosts and staff were so kind and helpful. Free parking right outside. Great value for money too.

Absolutely everything! Including Julius who welcomed us to the property with a big smile and the promise that the jacuzzi was ready and waiting for us ! Lovely spacious property with brilliant facilities, comfy beds, top notch cleanliness and a host that offers beer and a bbq to diet for !

We loved everything about Villa Thorse! The location, neighbourhood, beds, kitchen - everything! I cannot even begin to describe the views and the location of this place. There were six of us and the villa was perfect for us. Bedrooms are upstairs and the sofa/bed for kids was downstairs. Bedrooms upstairs were a bit hot, but that's because we were there when it was five days of hot sun - in the middle of summer. Won't complain though, the weather was perfect for long walks around Drøbak. Oslo was close with a car and there was a ferry going to the near Oscarsborg fortress/museum island every hour from dusk till dawn. We were supposed to stay only a couple of nights at first, but decided to extend the visit to a week (before arriving). Best choice I've ever made :) There were so much to see and do, the week felt way too short. Never felt so sad to leave a place. Thank you for everything, Ellen, We WILL be back! :))

The location, beautiful spot with great views and nice area to walk around (with a dog). Close to Horten and nice for an Oslo daytrip. The glamping tent we stayed in was a great experience, well situated, private and had all the facilities we needed, including parking right next to the tent. Also the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here for 1 day and it’s a shame that it was so short period. Very cozy and beautiful house, with a barbecue and outdoor seating area. Everything is thought out here just for the little things. There is everything you need. The window offers a beautiful view on the fjords. The store is a two minutes walk away. Convenient location, close to Oslo and the airport. If it were possible to give this house a rating 12 on booking, I would do it)) We will definitely come to you again and preferably longer 🙏🏻 Special thanks to the owners of this beautiful house for their attention and warm welcome.
