The Room was excellent as per the price. Breakfast was delicious. The location is surrounded by beautiful green valleys and fresh rivers and waterfalls in a short distance. Peaceful and eco friendly environment. The hotel owner and the staff were very welcoming and enthusiastic. I would like to visit again and strongly recommend you if you are visiting Bidur, Nuwakot, Nepal.

My stay was a serene escape. The view of Kathmandu valley and the forest was beautiful, with delightful bird songs in the background. It provided a calm and fresh atmosphere for a perfect one-night getaway. The villa was clean and beds was too comfortable. I loved the most was roof top city and forest view kitchen. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the calm and peaceful environment at Hotel Monalisa. The natural views from the balcony and windows were stunning and made the stay even more relaxing. The best experience we've had in Nepal. Mira takes care of every detail to make you feel almost part of their family. The room is extremely clean and comes with all the furniture you need, including a small kitchen that provides all you need to cook and eat in the table provided in the room. If you want, you can also ask Mira to cook dinner or lunch for you (her food is incredibly tasty). We were very sad when we said goodbye. We deeply recommend you to stay here.

The apartment was cozy, clean and staff made us like home. All staff including Ganesh were friendly and helped us navigate grocery, nearby amenities. Thamel was also close by , so it was great location for exploring areas.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this family-run guesthouse located near a peaceful river — the sound of the flowing water was so calming, especially after busy days in Kathmandu. The family lives on the property and welcomed us with genuine warmth. Their son greeted us with welcome drinks and later invited us for a lovely morning walk to a nearby temple. His mother prepared delicious breakfasts on the veranda with a stunning view. The whole family was incredibly kind and even invited us to join their son’s birthday celebration and a local festival, which made our stay unforgettable. It’s a quiet and relaxing place with no traffic noise — only the soothing sound of the river. We would love to come back one day! On the photo you can see the family and us. Plus the veranda and the view where we had our breakfast.
