An excellent location, away from the busy town yet just a short walk into the town centre. Peaceful place with greenery and a beautiful garden. Comfortable bed and a huge and neat bathroom. The lovely peaceful setting.Hot tub was soothing after a long drive and we sat outside around the brazier at night under the stars.A welcome break away after a busy few weeks. We even braved the plunge pool ( pure and spring fed) to wake ourselves up. Hearing the birdsong was also lovely and we will definitely come back.And wonderful value for the cost.Thankyou Fiery Peaks and Kay and Keith.

its a place for those looking for peacefulness and time away from busy life. It has everything you needed to entertain yourself from relaxing (nice comfy bed and big bathtub with good window view and also relaxing in their nice big gardens) to books, puzzles, DVDs and you can also connect to the google chrome cast to watch Netflix etc. Breakfast is included and hosts are happy to catered to your needs. which I requested to no pork meal and they happily accomodate to it. Both hosts are friendly. Panoramic view of the hills and mountain peaks. The stay was indeed so good that I extended for another night.

    Owners were very friendly, and helpful. The site was easy to find. Car parking right outside the room. Clean, comfortable and well appointed rooms. Easy walk into the town for dinner. After staying in a number of motels throughout the South Island this was outstandingly the best, and the best value for money, in a fabulous little town. Would definitely highly recommend. Perfect!
