Host greeted us on arrival and was able to recommend a restaurant for dinner that was within walking distance. Lodging was in a beautifully decorated, thoroughly modern, older home. There is a sitting room/den separate from the bedroom. Lodging was on a private second level of the house.

Very modern, exceptionally clean and contemporary design features. The location was great as we were using it to be close to the Inter islander ferry. Lots of local places to eat within walking distance. The receptionist was very helpful and we had a very comfortable nights sleep.

Very comfortable, clean, and warm abode. Had everything we needed for our short stay. The host was very easy to communicate with. Linen was clean, and the beds were so comfy! Close to shops, transport and only 15 minutes drive to Wellington. The only suggestion to make would be parking. Make the garden bed (in the parking area smaller) to make it easier to move and park the car... reviews did state parking may be an issue. It wasn't too bad because hubby did the parking lol........otherwise faultless!!! Would definitely stay again. Thank you 🙏 😊

Although we only stayed in Lynn's beautiful house for one night, we could still feel the owner's elegant artistic accomplishment. Everywhere in the room made people feel warm and thoughtful. Maybe we were in such a hurry with our preparations that we didn't even estimate that we might not be able to buy tickets. When we successfully boarded the boat to Picton, our hearts were filled with gratitude to our host, Lynn. Without Lynn's help we would have been in trouble and it would have affected our entire trip. This travel experience will definitely be engraved in our hearts.

    Staff were accommodating, allowing us to checkin an hour early because we had just arrived after travelling all day. The unit was quiet, considering it was just around the corner from a busy road. We felt safe and secure with parking right at the front door. Restaurants, pubs and shops were a short walk.
