What an amazing cottage for a romantic getaway! Lovely scenery to enjoy the outdoor bath and inside the cottage was just as nice with all the little design details. compact room was quite cozy and very quiet next to the owners property, but we were left by ourselves, but in the knowledge if any issues they could be called upon,plenty of restaurants nearby in Kumeu, like the "Hive"

My partner and I loved everything about the barn. Defiantly our favourite stay of our NZ trip, and perfect way to end it by relaxing in the spa and playing pool. I couldn’t fault one thing, would love to come back again purely to stay here.

the location was perfect for us being nearby Allely Estate for a family wedding and close to an air bnb that our family were staying at.... & we used Huapai Transfers for transport on wedding day :-). the unit is spacious - 2 bdrms plus a couple of extra beds in the lounge area.

We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely house. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome—the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was spotlessly clean and had such a warm, cozy atmosphere. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was peaceful, and we loved relaxing in the comfortable living area after a day of exploring. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

    The breakfast was a great bonus. The cabin was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen/ living room and bathroom were all big enough. Parking was good and privacy was perfect. Great location.

    The property is in a very quiet secluded area but close to surrounding towns. Wildlife all around, like rabbits, possums, birds etc. Parking right in front of the cottage.

    Breakfast was good, self cook eggs, toast etc. juice and yogurt provided as well as fruit. The parking was adequate. Owner did not communicate via booking.com and when we turned up an hour earlier she was rude and was only interested in taking our credit card. She said that we should have booked with her direct and that she doesn’t follow up with booking messages. We just wanted to change into outfit for a wedding and the room was ready, so not sure why she was so unpleasant.
